Aberlour A'bunadh (Batch 63)

Spice cake, cinnamon Red Hots, apple cider, pomander, pecan pie. More of the same on the palate. More spicy cinnamon on the finish. Alcohol more noticeable on the back end than the front. Finishes with espresso and a reductive tarry element. As a purist, I've always been a proof snob and a big fan of numerous A'Bunadh batches over the years. Always good, regardless of batch (this one Batch 63). Would I buy a new batch? Yes. 4.25 on the Distiller scale. Non chill filtered. 61% ABV.
