I was sold this bottle by my local shop keeper that said I would never try another after it. That is some pretty high praise so let's see. The nose is not tequila. It is brown sugar sweet almost like a brandy with not a hint of the typical agave. First sip is "WTF am I drinking?" Seriously, that is what comes to mind. Sweet sugar floods your mouth and there is no hint of acohol burn. This is dangerous stuff. If you were to sit down with a bottle, a glass, and no self control you would quickly find the floor. If all tequila tasted like this I might never go back to Whiskey. Be warned this is not for everyone. Tequila purists will probably curse this review, but screw them this is an amazing pour!

Was really looking forward to this much hyped tequila but man, it is so darn sweet! I’m having trouble believing this wasn’t sweetened, as heretical as that may sound, because I’m sure a lot of work went into this. Glad others are enjoying, but this is not for me.
I hate to be that guy and ruin the rating. I really do not like this. It tastes like butterscotch and Cinnamon but not much tequila/agave its almost a liquor its so sweet. Why wouldnt I just buy my favorite anejo and dump sugar in it if thats what I wanted
Nose: smells like brandy/cognac, brown sugar, raisin Palate: tastes like brown sugar bubble tea, honey, vanilla, caramel, and raisin Finish: after taste of earl grey black tea Really liked it, very sweet though, so mainly as a dessert sipper.
Bourbon at first sip, second sip sweeter than bourbon. Final result...one of my favorite tequilas to date. This was the 2018 black bottle version. Have a 2019 clear bottle up next !
Absolutely exquisite for sipping neat. Smooth as silk with a finish that refuses to end. (I’m horrible at identifying flavors, but I’ve never enjoyed a tequila more.)
