This limited edition release is a single malt that was matured for at least 5 years in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV.

Colorante dorado opaco. En nariz se siente picor con amargo y hierba húmeda, almendra. Mandarina aparece luego. En boca suave, con picante, notas de jerez que dan la almendra, lo seco y damasco. Final corto suave, recuerda a arroz y ciruela. No muy complejo pero suave y rico. Con agua resalta malta y butter toffee.
well balanced buttery, nutty Sherry nose. stone fruit, brine and spice. long spice cake finish. fantastic depth in this Japanese whiskey.

Smoky and a little sweet. I got the 3 year instead of 5.
