(cask 1373) An intense, 5-year-old single malt Japanese whisky from the Akashi range, produced by White Oak in Hyogo. It has an aromatic birth with notes of yellow apple, powder sugar, angelica fruits, honeyed tea, Corn flakes, yeast, rubber, plastic & cookie dough; while a rich & malty life adds notes of apple cider, grain & ginger; that led to a quick & grainy death.
