Aromas of vanilla, pine wood, molasses, caramel, orange pith, and nutmeg. Full-bodied and moderately oily on the palate, showing more orange, molasses, vanilla, and pine – accented by notes of coconut and hay. Finish is smooth and fairly long. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)

Better than the standard stuff, thinner than the Legacy and nowhere near as good as the Cask Strength stuff. It's right where it needs to be price point wise. Is it a good $35 bottle? Yes. Is it probably one of the better $35 CAD Canadian rye whiskeys? Yes.
This is only a slight step up from Alberta Premium , the caramel is overpowering , this do not compare to Alberta Premium CS, Crown Northern Harvest Rye , Lot 40, Riefel Rye etc . Drinkable at best . The best part of this whisky is the glass cut bottle.
Thick with a strong peppery kick. Heat comes through but ends smooth. Some oak and a touch of sweet bread in there too. Amazing pour for the price.
