Splendid. Though fino is the lightest and driest sherry, this Amrut has a color as dark as many Oloroso and PX casks and exhibits tasting notes of raisins, salted caramel apples, prunes, luxardo cherries, dates, almonds, mince pies, hazlenut chocolate, sultanas, treacle, golden syrup, peppers, burnt orange peels, Christmas cakes, pineapples, and gingerbread.
