(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, 04 February 2023). Nose: Nail polish, red berries, caramel Palate: Caramel, sweet, dried fruit - raisins & dates, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice Finish: Long finish. Christmas notes. Sherry, vanilla, caramel. Green, menthol and white pepper on the aftertaste. 500 litre Oloroso sherry butt. This is a total sherry bomb. Chewy, full-bodied, fruity and unctuous. An excellent whisky. Came first out of the six drams, with 55% of the final vote for favourite of the night. 100% of those present said they enjoyed the whisky. There were two stand out drams that dominated the voting, so some of the whiskies may have unfairly suffered as a result.
