Classic bunna, Very fruity from those sherry casks and pretty peaty. Nose: maple syrup, very oaky/woody terpentine, dried figs Palet: oak, dried red fruits, sweet peat, bbq ash/campfire, almost caramel/brown cane sugar, Finish: rather long finish with a smooth alcohol burn, and those sweet oaky and peaty notes fading, leaving you with almost a bitter taste of ash. You can definitely sense the high proof and i’d almost say it’s a lil too high for something like this 50-55% would’ve been much better imo Still a great whisky definitely and a recommendation from me if you like ardbeg uigedail!

On the palate, it's a mouthful. Peaty, spicy, sherried.
