A rich, Auchentoshan single malt aged for 16 years in a single refill hogshead cask, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It was distilled in September 2000 & bottled in March 2017 with an outturn of 319 bottles. It has a birth with notes of Citrus blossom, butterscotch & a hint of juicy raspberries; while a drying life adds notes of white pepper, lemongrass & more red berry; that led to a refreshing & sweet death with a hint of orange peel.
