A balanced, 20-Year-Old Speyside Single Malt Whisky. The second batch of Auchroisk (say 'Othrusk') from That Boutique-y Whisky Company & what a label! Rarely released as a single malt, this Speyside distillery has very little do with the impending Zombie Apocalypse, but we thought it was about time one of our whiskies featured some zombies! This is a release of 127 bottles. It has a floral & grassy birth with notes of fresh fruit tea, cut flowers, cinnamon toast, tanned leather, red berries, barley & vanilla; while life adds notes of honey & honeycomb (Crunchie bars), juicy fruits – soured oranges, lemon juice, tart apples, wood, vanilla & fruitiness; that led to a delicate death with notes of wood, polish & a hint of cloves.
