Bought this bottle because seagrass is amazing and read this was pretty good for being cheaper then it’s siblings… tasting this with a Glencairn and a Norlan glass neat. Nose: slight caramel, baking spice, rye spice, a little heat Taste: lots of heat building up, it’s like a bourbon and rye whiskey fighting for the dominant flavor profile. Sweet caramel followed by rye spice Finish: hot! Medium mouthfeel, lots of dark chocolate and oak spice. This is my second time trying it and first time I was not a fan. I think at first I was drinking a bourbon then the rye whiskey came up then it was the finish of dark chocolate. I’m perplexed by this but after a few sips my mouth is numb, kinda like it. May use this to freak some friends out or put it in mixed drinks… it was a spontaneous buy but I may do my research better next time.

Aroma carries an almost winey sweetness with cereal grain and fruity sweetness complimenting it; Palate tastes a bit young/unintegrated with the woody notes which open to some caramel syrup; Finish though is quite nice with the sweet and spicy fade. It’s fun, but doesn’t feel like all the pieces have connected here.
Nose: sweet, woody, vanilla, and hints of apple//pear Taste: sweeter notes, hints of fruit like the apple I smelled and caramel. Mild spice that lingers. Overall: love the concept and will probably always try now and again with different batches but not sure I’d do this this batch again
For lack of a better way to put it, the infinite barrel project is a little bumpier ride than other Barrel offerings. But also complex, interesting, and a little less pricey—I’m a fan.
Creamy and warm. Worth the price of admission!
The Canadian stuff overpowers just a little
