A delicate bottling of 17-year-old Ben Nevis single malt was distilled in May 1999 & bottled in 2017 following a finishing period in a cask which previously held Madeira! 333 bottles were produced. It has an herbaceous & vegetal birth with notes of basil leaf. blackberry bush, sweetness of malt loaf & caramelized fruit; while a rich life adds notes of Jammie Dodgers, thyme honey, a hint of mineral-y smoke, leather & almond pastries; that led to a delicate death with notes of milky coffee, redcurrant & mint.
