This is an interesting pour. I bought it on a whim thinking I was getting a French whisky but instead, this is a blended Scotch aged in France. It drinks like a blended Scotch that lands right around JW Double Black as far as Peatiness goes. They say they blend 20% Peated malt and I'm guessing the remaining 80% is grain. Behind the peat this whisky is very light and effervescent. It's like a menthol cigarette (in a good way!) Worth a try.

Two words: sweet peat Not a fan of peaty scotches so was pleasantly surprised with this French whiskey after picking it up randomly on sale. Nice gentle smoke nose and taste. Really enjoyed and will definitely pick up another bottle if I see it
