Aroma - The brandy barrel really jumps out of the glass. There’s some rye spices present but can’t seem to pinpoint what kind of spice. Very Subtle nose. Also getting a white wine like note as it opens up. Taste - Screams youthfulness. Lots of fruits coming forward, sharp wood presence. The alcohol is actually quite noticeable and but its nice to be honest. Overall - The palate is a bit all over the place. The alcohol heat actually helps this whiskey from losing balance though. Theres a point right around mid-palate that theres an “off balance” between the fruit and the oak but, the alcohol kind of brings it back to keep it from drifting too far off. The finish initially is drying but then it transitions to a sweet fruity finish. Intriguing to say the least. Drinks right at its proof point. Priced appropriately. I could see this being used to make an interesting Old Fashion.

Excellent. The regular Blackened was at the top of my list for "best celeb collab whiskey" that I'd had. Until I had this. It's got spice, it's got heavy sweetness. It's hot, but it's not killer hot for 120 proof. It's just got a little something for everyone. This is great. Buy one if you see it. It's very nice.
