On the nose, a strong sensation of caramel candy, but also suggests a very strong character - a spicy, peppery sensation with grassy notes. On the palate, the sweet caramel and vanilla are quickly enveloped by a strong peppery character. A very alcoholic sensation, which I don't associate with whiskey, but rather with a slightly spiced Balkan brandy/rakia. With the addition of water, a lot of vanilla comes out, but again with hot black pepper. It is clear that the distillate is young. The finish is long and warm, sweet baked caramel, fine vanilla.
