Blue Run 14 Year is an expression from barrels aged a minimum of 14 years that were selected by Liquid Advisor Jim Rutledge. This is a reserve variation on the 14 Year Straight Bourbon that is available exclusively from the distillery in limited quantities as of July 7, 2021. It is bottled at 113 proof.

Rich color. The taste of an over proof bourbon doesn’t escape it. Smooth on the front end with a burn down the back. Sweet nose that doesn’t burn. Definitely a mature bourbon. It should get a lot more credit than it does. Sips better with each drink. Tastes like apple pie and Christmas
Aroma is strong vanilla and brown sugar or Molasses. Really nice. Flavor is dark caramel and black pepper and deep like a Sugar Daddy. A few drops of water brings out some coconut, maple and more spice.. Long finish. Creamy mouthfeel
just passed the shoulders on this pour. a perfect bourbon for the masses. looking forward to seeing if it develops a touch of individuality to separate itself from the rest.
