It’s robust, but the low proof helps keep it approachable. Spice, rye bread, some baker’s yeast, dark fruits in the background, it’s everything you expect/want from a young 100% rye… I’m just not sure I personally want to pay $50 for it. 🫤
Citrusy and grassy on the nose. Mildly bitter and grassy flavor. Sightly oily. Not much burn. Lightly bitter aftertaste.
Not a ton of flavor. Well balanced but not much depth. More earthy and floral than sweet. A bit of spice in there too
Smooth and mild smoke. Very plesant oak that wasn't too sweet. Finished well.
Stone fruit, with very little conventional rye spice.
Herbal with sweet cherry.
