About this bottle
This limited edition release from Michter's Legacy Series Bomberger's Declaration is made by finishing the Kentucky straight bourbon in PFG barrels —Precision Fine Grain. These proprietary barrels were made with a blend of wood from various origins including the Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, Vosges forests that were seasoned for 40 months. Then they were toasted and charred to Michter's specifications. Bottled at 50.1% ABV, this 2025 release was launched in late January 2025. (SRP $140)

Nose: soft vailla and cherry, some cola Palette: brown sugar, more cola (strong) vanilla, tannins start to come through, fruity dry finish. Good stuff!
Very nice flavor and finish. Goes down smooth and is more tasty that the standard Bomberger’s
Starts sweet with fruity notes finishing slightly dry with leather notes
Sweet with caramel and a little dark fruit.
