Some sweetness and wood on the nose, but unrefined. A bit of cherry on the pallet with some body, yet with an odd off putting flavor, perhaps from the sorghum. The finish is similarly off putting, leaving a lasting impression. Overall this tastes like a cheap whisky aged briefly. Perhaps with more age it would be a more pleasant experience, but I think the sorghum throws it off kilter. I applaud the effort by this tiny Wisconsin distiller, but this one needs more work.
