About this bottle
Yellow Submarine III is the fourth bottling in Bruichladdich's Whisky of Mass Distinction series, located on Islay. This release commemorates 25 years since the distillery's revival in 2001. The series name originates from a mistaken identification of Bruichladdich as a potential weapons site by US Military Intelligence, a blunder the distillery addressed with humor. This is an unpeated 14-year-old single malt made from 100% Scottish barley. It is matured in 75% first-fill bourbon barrels and 25% first and second-fill French red wine casks. The bottling is non-chill filtered at 108.4 proof and became available in June 2026. (SRP $134.99)
