Caol Ila 2007 11 Year (Berry Bros. & Rudd)

Excellent IB peated Caol Ila. Light nose of seasalt, brine, seaweed, ash and light peat smoke. Nice body that feels both light and oily at different times. Taste reminds me of ardbeg. With fairly heavy smoke into lighter medicinal and lemony notes with a nice lingering salty finish.

Peach and caramel, green apples and ashes, vanilla and berries, sweet and saltiness. Damn caol ila! I love it

Solid IB Caol Ila, flavorful yet light on the palate. Good briny character.
