About this bottle
The Distillers Edition is an annual limited edition series from Diageo featuring select single malt Scotch whisky distilleries in their portfolio. Each release is double matured (finished) in a selected cask. For Caol Ila, casks which held Moscatel sherry --a sweet, fortified dessert wine -- are used. Distilled in 2006, this release was bottled in 2017 at 86 proof.
