Clés Des Ducs VSOP Vieil Armagnac is a delicate Brandy by Clés des Ducs in Armagnac, France. It has an aromatic birth with notes of ripe plum & sugared almond & vanilla; while a rich & fruity life adds notes of dark chocolate, winter spice, apricot, apple & pear; that led to a slightly earthy death of medium length. August 2017

Nice intitial taste, but definitely a small sipper. TONS of heat, and a long, lingering finish, especially in the nose. Not my favorite

Fresh, but not too young or harsh. Fruity and balanced, not too complex. Easy drinking and well made brandy.
