About this bottle

To celebrate the 125th passing of the Bottled in Bond Act on March 3, 1897, Buffalo Trace Distillery honors E. H. Taylor, Jr. with this commemorative single barrel release chosen by country musician Chris Stapleton. This E. H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel was distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery and barreled on June 3, 2009 and bottled in mid February, making it over 12 years old. As with all BIB releases, it is 100 proof. Note: this is a charity bottling with all proceeds benefitting Stapleton's Outlaw State of Kind which spreads its interests over a variety of causes. It is available as of March, 2022.

jared glasner 4.5

Caramel and vanilla notes on the notes. Dark fruits, oak and leather for the finish. Good complex whiskey that is easy to enjoy.

After a minute it opens up nicely, a little bit spicy and very smooth
