Compass Box Great King Street – Single Marrying Cask ''The Lost Child'' is a complex, 'Blended Scotch Whisky by John Glaser founder of Compass Box Distillery in Chiswick, England. It is a limited edition of their Great King Street blend; returning to one of the original casks they were matured in (either a run-of-the-mill American barrel, a Sherry butt or a custom-toasted new French oak cask) to be married & bottled at 49.5%. It has a delicate birth with hints of green apples, citrus, toasted oak & sweet cream; while a creamy life adds notes of floral wood, sultana, sponge cake, honey, cinnamon & lemon curd; that led to a rich & zesty death of medium length with notes of cheesecake, vanilla cream, smoke & wood.
