It’s so yummy and snacky that it goes down too quickly over a gigantic rock. I didn’t realize how sweet and essentially weak it was until I tasted it again after a neat Makers Mark 101. It is ridiculously sweet in that context. The maple is a really nice flavor, reminding me of bacon and syrup.
Well it’s cheaper and more available than a cocktail, but it’s candy. I love maple bourbons on light evenings and this one goes down like water. In other words, I can over drink this one.
I like flavored whisky and this one is my new favorite. The Maple is sweet but not overwhelming. It is slightly thicker than normal whisky (as expected). The finish is short but nice.
Super sweet, tastes like maple syrup. Not a big fan of flavored whiskies. Good for cocktails. Considering I paid 5¢ for 750mL; not going to complain.
