A bold, Straight Rye Whiskey by Copper Still Spirits in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; crafted with local rye & sweet corn with a mash bill of 95% rye in copper stills; aged for over 2 years in American oak. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, citrus, wood & spice; while a rich & bold life adds notes of rye, orange, caramel, toasted vanilla & toffee; that led to a long & hot death with notes of pepper, oak, chocolate & orange zest.
