Color is dark honey. Nose starts with a little youth from the corn. Beneath that lies vanilla and caramel. The youth covers a lot of the other possible smells. First sip is oak and caramel, with a hint of black pepper. Some fruits follow that, as well as some vanilla. Mouthfeel is moderately viscous. Finish however has that immature corn, though not as potent as the nose. The immaturity doesn't completely ruin it, but definitely detracts from an otherwise quite sippable Bourbon. Definitely would not pay asking price for this.

An oaky, Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Agnus MacDonald for Coppersea Distillery produced as a 100% free-range New York Whisky even aged in New York casks. It has a bold birth with notes of vanilla, campfire wood & caramel. while an intense life adds notes of caramel, black pepper, vanilla & peaches; that led to a long & oaky death with notes of grain, almond & spice. Wow… remarkable in how bad this whiskey tastes. The high expert rating makes me doubt all the ratings in this app. The nose is heavy on cleaning supplies mixed with wood and grass. Those notes carried through to the taste. We did a tasting with 12 other whiskeys, this was the hands down unanimous worst whisky of the group.
Dark molasses and caramel aroma, taste is heavy and sweet. Sweetness is molasses and peach. Proof goes well with flavors and richness. Wood burn is excellent, medium to high richness. Actually reminds me a ton of Curry sark prohibition.
Nose is full of spices i.e. cinnamon, not picking up much else. Taste is slightly sweet with nice bits of caramel, pepper and lingering sweetness. Overall, pretty good but nothing special.
Nose - honey/caramel, herbal and floral, cherry, sweet Taste- Floral and cherry taste Finish - medium finish, coating honey aftertaste Overall - good dessert or party bourbon, I like it
