A rich, agave spirit by Nom 1103 in Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico. It has an aromatic birth with notes of roasted agave, wood & spice; while a rich life adds notes of oak, vanilla & agave syrup; that led to a candied & creamy death of medium length with notes of butterscotch & toffee. July 2023
About this bottle
Allowed to age a full 2 years in American oak barrels, Corazon is estate-cultivated, distilled and bottled at one of the few family-owned agave estates in Jalisco. This allows the brand to convey a "homemade" taste to its followers. After the second distillation oxygen is infused into the distillate to give it a lighter but fuller body.

Dry, dusty, herbal, a little oily and kind of bitter, masking oak and dark caramelized agave. I expected better from Sazerac & Co. $57 In Ontario.
Not bad on the rocks for a $30. A little pepper on the finish, just a little behind the Kirkland for drinkablity and flavor profile.
My first anejo, and first try since a terrible Jose night. Found it to be very harsh. Almost undrinkable.
not sure if it was this exact one but was a good mix of tequila and bourbon flavors
