Clear, tan appearance. Aroma of mild blackberry and possible grain. The flavor is of sweet and sour blackberry, but these are somewhat muted. A touch of grain and oak shows up. The body is medium, and it finishes semi sweet. It does taste good, but there is just not enough flavor to rate it at excellent. RJT

Sweet, fruity, mild spice, slightly enjoyable burn at the end. IMHO this is a light all day sipping beverage. Perfect off the shelf or refrigerated for a cool sit down conversation drink. Pleasantly surprised and will purchase again.
This is evidently the hot new item. It surprised me. Actually not bad. Quite sweet. Smells like a blackberry liqueur. Nice mouth feel. Tastes like Crown with blackberries and a hint of pastry. A little heat in the finish.
Artificial candy nose. Soft on the palette with a sweetness that turns to a blackberry finish. I enjoyed this whiskey neat and in cocktails. Definitely not complex, but do they all have to be?
I disagree with the low ratings. What did you expect with any “berry” mix? The blackberry is just subtle enough to enjoy over block ice. Get a bottle before it is gone.
At room temperature:Blackberry oily flavor. Very off putting finish that's sharp. With Coke; the Coke does not cover up the sharpness on the finish.
