Honestly, a bit disappointing. It is what it is. Flavored whiskey. It is not a rich chocolate flavor, but a very fake chocolate flavor, not unlike Canfields Chocolate Fudge Diet Soda. Oh, it's not totally unpleasant, and I will drink it for fun, when looking for a low proof evening, but no, I will not be obtaining a backup.
A bold, flavored, Canadian Whiskey that has an aromatic birth with notes of dark chocolate, hints of grain & wood; while a full & complex life adds notes of old tootsie rolls & old chocolate cherry filling; that led to a bold death of medium length with a touch of whiskey, caramel, vanilla & oak.
Expected bad but had to buy and try. Actually not terrible. Sipped on it while working. I don’t need this around but it’s probably a solid mixer!
Clean with just a slight taste of chocolate, smooth and pleasant.
Pretty tasty on its’ own and also good on ice and with some coke
