At my in-laws. Couldn't say no to a glass without risking a shooting war. Tasted neat. Golden copper in the glass, average coating legs. Light floral nose--grain but not a lot of vanilla. BANG. There it is--vanilla and white sugar in the mouth. Sweet, floral, a little artificial/chemical, and thin. And that's the finish too... short, with a little rye tingle on the lips. I can see drinking too much of this under the impression that it's not 80 proof, whisky, or even alcohol. It should come with emergency flashers, but you can use the fabric bag to flag down folks for help. Seriously, it's just sweet Canadian whisky, nothing more, nothing less. Were you expecting more? If you’re mixing it with kind of soda pop just consider holding the soda and enjoying it as is--you won't know the difference... unless you're pouring 10 oz highballs. At that point, refer to use of the bag above. That's what my in-laws do, eh?

It falls under that camp of flavored spirits that just tastes like fake chemicals to me. The vanilla taste is there but so are so many other overpowering flavors that made this undrinkable for me. I can see it pairing well with coke in small quantities so it's not completely useless but I immediately got a headache from how sweet this was.
Aroma is alcohol, rye, and slight vanilla. Taste is rye and vanilla and aftertaste is sweetness. There is a weak alcohol burn going down. With ice: Aroma of vanilla. Taste is upfront vanilla and very weak rye. Very sweet! Would be great mixing, but great on it's own.
Grabbed a miniature while in Houston this past February. Butter cookies infiltrate your nose then butterscotch envelops your palate. Borderline too sweet but I dig vanilla/marshmallow stouts & Crown Vanilla doesn’t achieve *that* level of diabeetus 😎
Blended Canadian grain whisky with artificial tasting/smelling vanilla. Fine for mixing with Coke but smells and tastes of overwhelmingly young corn whisky when served neat. Note: Bottled at 35% for the U.S. market. (375ml bottle)
Extremely sweet to the taste. Great sipping ability. It’s good with coke. Very smooth to the tongue and a bit of a spicy aftertaste. Very little bite. Great with a couple of ice cubes in a glass.
