This is a very interesting expression of Crystal Head Vodka: a vodka that naturally tastes subtly like tequila. It is very smooth so you can enjoy neat or just on ice. I wouldn’t use it for cocktails unless you use very delicate flavors. It won’t replace your favorite vodka nor it will replace your favorite tequila but, you should definitely give it a try if you like both.
About this bottle
Crystal Head Onyx is the third permanent addition to the brand's lineup. It's made using Blue Weber agave sourced from a single farm in Mexico. Like the other marques in the portfolio, Onyx is filtered through layers of quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds and the water used in its production is glacial water from Newfoundland where the vodka is distilled. It is bottled in the brand's signature skull bottle design, but this time it's got a glossy black color.

Sweet and smooth - not a typical vodka flavor. Very smooth, not a heavy drink and no burn. Aftertaste is a little fruity. The nose is tequila but much different taste. Not one to replace your vodka but very good for something a little different That said I’m a big crystal head fan
👃- Earthy citrus, fresh/clear agave 👅- Sweetness from the agave shines through brilliantly, the pureness of the Newfoundland water pronounced brilliantly 🏁- Sweet chilli moving to a smooth, defined finish.
