Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey Finished in Honey Casks

A bit disappointed. Not as good as the port wine barrel finished or the regular Dad's Hat. Smells like a mix of scotch and honey. Tastes a bit like it, too. Tastes young, with a honeysuckle quality. Dry peanut in the finish. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

Sweet and spicy. Like Honey with black pepper and thyme/rosemary. Was great neat and found the flavor super interesting compared to similarly priced bourbons and Irish. Will buy again if I can find it!

Had this neat and was really nice but adding ice really makes the honey pop out!

Very honey but thin
