A bold, blended whiskey by master blender Ken Usami crafted with 50% barley malt & 50% grain whiskies that are aged in ex-bourbon & ex-oloroso sherry casks then finished in rare Japanese Mizunara Oak before being blended & bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of toasted grain, orchard & dried fruits, oak, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of raisins, malt, caramel & dried apples; that led to a long & slightly hot death with notes of oak, vanilla, incense & sandalwood.
