Was over at a friend’s place for dinner last night, and this was opened up as an after dinner treat. I’ve not had many Armagnacs, barely 2 or 3, so I don’t know much about them except it’s from a particular region in France, distilled once, from grapes, and can be silly old but a fraction of whisky price at similar age. I think @worldwhiskies95 ‘s review below nailed it. Like having shortbread cookies dipped in raspberry jelly. Not for the peatheads, obviously, but if you like a bit on sweeter side, this is for you.
