Nice fruit forward young Cognac. Nose of floral fruit, vanilla, and oak. Mouth starts with slightly sweet fruitiness, a touch of heat soon shows up to the show and then ebbs to a well rounded fruit and oak spice finish that lingers. Very good for the relatively low price point.
About this bottle
Maison Boinaud is the largest family-owned estate in the Grand Champagne region of Cognac, with over 1,000 acres, and also operates its own distillery and cooperage. The 24th generation of the house, established in the 1640s, is now in charge of producing Cognac De Luze. The VS expression is aged for a minimum of two years and, as a Fine Champagne, includes a mix of Grand Champagne (at least 50%) and Petite Champagne grapes.

Aromas of candied orange, honeysuckle, raisin, and baking spice. Rounded mouthfeel. On the palate, more candied orange and raisin, plus honeycomb, vanilla, apple blossom, and on the finish, subtle chamomile. Finish is fairly long. 3.75/5.00 – Very Good (neat)
Confectionary nose. Smooth and fruity taste with a very short, almost non-existent finish. Very rich and velvety to the palate. Fruit and mild oak upfront.
Un VS classique de la maison Boinaud. Notes d'orange, vanille, raisins secs, légèrement caramel, miel. OK sans coup de coeur particulier.
Fruity, spicy, floral with a at the beginning of the aftertaste a strong alcoholic sting. But with a long and pleasant aftertaste.
very nice!
