Deckhand

High vanilla nose, pine, cherries or maybe green apple. Rye in the palate but quite understated, sweetness underneath an oily mouth feel Very uninspired finish, little burn and basically no head from the alcohol. The interesting nose doesn't deliver through the rest of the sip. Overall pleasent enough but far from a traditional rye, likely won't be getting again.

Lovely aroma when opening the bottle. Had high hopes. Quite a weak taste of rye and ended feeling it was a bit average at best
