A friend had this for us to taste tonight as an opportunity to venture into something different. The label offers little information beyond rye whiskey produced and bottled in Dallas, Texas. The nose gave me little more than damp grass or a bale of hay which I consider undeveloped rye flavors. Palate was about the same. I can drink it but won't go back for more

Has a mellow aroma. My first rye. Dry finish with a slight burn. Some earthy notes with the after taste.

Aged One 3.0

Green tea and honey nose. Light, sweet, raw rye spice. Finish drops off.

Quite tasty rye out of Texas. Vanilla smoothness with hints of spice.

tyson dawson 3.0

Light, oaky, reminiscent of scotch but with a hint of rye spice.

RumBadger 3.5

Nice spicy caramel flavor. Little burn but finishes quickly.
