This German- Austrian collaboration using 23 at least partly vertically farmed botanicals for sustainability has produced an absolutely beautiful composition that spreads its notes across an entire range of the slightest baseline of juniper, pronounced citrus, apparent strawberry sweetness, hints of wildflowers and hints of savory herbs. If you don't mind paying for a great gin this is a no brainer, otherwise there's a slight dampener in the very similar tasting and equally as enjoyable Citadelle Jardin d'Été costing much less for a larger bottle.
