Dogfish Head Sonic Archaeology

I had such hopes for this. The prior ratings being 4.5 stars but here's where I was wrong. I think maybe I am enjoying this wrong? It claims to enjoy over ice. Maybe if someone made a mule of this. Poured some fresh lime and a dash of ginger soda would probably work. On the rocks it comes out very tart and bitter. Ill try this again making something of this but this is not a neat drink for me.

This is quite a tart cocktail. When over ice it does open up a little and the faint sweetness comes through.

If you're looking for a good whiskey this is not it. It's a good schnapps but I taste zero whiskey.
