A rich, independently bottled 6-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery on the isle of Islay - a small batch release from Douglas Laing's Single Minded range. It has a light birth with notes of citrus zest, Ozone. lemon peel, dark-earthy peat, coal smoke & leafy; while a heavy life adds notes of minerals, green leaves, smoke, soot, a hint of licorice, earthiness & zest; that led to a long death with notes of sharp apple skin, a hint of mint, menthol & biscuity grain.
