Driftless Glen 5 Year Reserve Brandy

I feel like a hater next to rave reviews... but i taste lots of heat, little meat. Good woody spice just overpowers all of the fruit nuance and class that are in the base grape (and the great smell). Interesting but disappointing.

I've kinda gotten out of brandy but this 1's not bad...
