Driftless Glen Small Batch Rye Whiskey

SMALL BATCH # // 12 NEAT NOSE - Light Caramel, Vanilla, and Pears. With time in the glass, the pear fades away and a cherry note comes out. PALATE - Smooth and easy. No spice whatsoever. This is definitely a bourbon drinker’s rye. Delicate Caramel with hints of vanilla. No fruit on the palate. FINISH - Short. BUY? Yes. Simple, but good at an inviting price. BUY AGAIN? - Yes, but I need a single barrel or cask strength offering!

A damn good rye, sweeter than I expected for a rye not as peppery of a finish as most.

Much smoother than other ryes I’ve had. Pretty good stuff
