Drunken Sailor Rum takes its name from a famous sea shanty that used to be sung by sailors while working. It is made from a blend of aged Caribbean rums distilled from both sugarcane juice and molasses. Additional ingredients, including Tahitian vanilla and cinnamon, are then added. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

This is a great tasting rum. Much better than the easier to find Sailor Jerry. This rum is smooth, has less burn than others and the spices come through nicely without being overwhelming. A great rum for the price.
Sweet molasses very early, with a vanilla and cinnamon quickly to follow. Then a slow warming burn all the way to the stomach. Went great with a madura cigar.
Best rum I have ever had. Creme Brulee brown sugar.
