DS Tayman, Caol Ila 12, 2nd edition

Very pleasant nose. Nice light fruitiness - a subtle berry from the flam, mixed with a little salty citrus note from the distillate. Very light smoke. On the palate the mild peat and malty sweetness hits first, with a nice tingle and oakiness on the medium finish. Overall nice. The wine finish is subtle.

Ashy campfire taste, but in a good way. A little burnt after taste. Can taste the sweeter wine in the after taste too.
