(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual ‘Peat in the wrong place’ Whisky Tasting, 20 August 2021). Nose: Stone fruit, floral, berries, apple Palate: Blackcurrant jam, citrus, wood/oak, green apple Finish: Medium finish. Spicy (cinnamon & chilli), menthol. Quite drying on the aftertaste. Sweet, slightly 'hot', but very fruity. The barest hints of smoke, but really just a light background note. Very approachable and easy to drink. Came joint second out of the six drams, with 19% of the final vote for favourite of the night. 76% of those present said they enjoyed the whisky.
