Beach Bonfire is the first limited edition release from Elements of Islay since the re-launch of its core range in 2023. The Islay blended malt was aged in new oak, refill bourbon, and sherry casks. Following an initial launch during Fèis Ìle 2023, Beach Bonfire is being released globally beginning with key markets across Europe in October 2023 and an expected roll out to Asia and the US to follow in 2024. Listed abv is incorrect, it is actually 57.2% Sweet bbq and salt water aroma with lots of stone fruit and citric fruit. Flavor is a massive smack of herbaceous, maritime peat. Lingering burnt ends and subtly sweet confection finish it out. I'm looking forward to seeing how this changes as I continue to drink this bottle.
