About this bottle
Espolòn Extra Añejo Tequila, produced at Casa San Nicolás in Jalisco, Mexico's Los Altos highlands, is distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested by hand. It ages for two and a half years in American oak and is then finished for six months in French Chardonnay casks. The distinctive matte black bottle features label art by José Guadalupe Posada, inspired by the Mexican tradition of serenades. This concept extends to production, where the liquid is exposed to music and sound waves during fermentation. It is bottled at 80 proof and will be available nationwide starting June 2026 with a suggested retail price of $69.99.
