Single barrel 363, barreled 9/14/2016, bottled 9/5/2024 at 43.3% ABV. Tasting neat. Light golden straw color, light legs in the glass. Nose is light vanilla and soft sweet grain. On the palate, sweet grain, vanilla oak, and a little sour ethanol. Not that much going on. Thin mouthfeel. Finish shows more oak and spice, but still thin and sweet. Mint tingle on the tail end that lasts. Ice thins this even more. I remember loving this a decade ago--a more forceful drink with more character. This vintage lacks. Disappoints my memory of EW Single Barrel. Probably better if it was a higher ABV.
